34th Annual Oyster Fest 2015

Another successful Oyster Fest has come and gone, and we thank all of the volunteers who helped staff our information booth, pass out books, and monitor the RV gate entrances. We would also like to send a big thank you to all who came to Oyster Fest and visited our booth. We had a lot of interest in our organization this year, and people where really excited to hear about mission and impact in the community.

For those unfamiliar with Oyster Fest, it is a great local festival that occurs the first weekend in October in Mason County, and is organized by the Shelton Skookum Rotary . The Skookum rotary is a big supporter of Sound Learning, and we show our appreciation by supplying some volunteers to staff the event. Oyster Fest brings together Non-Profit organizations and service clubs from the area in a celebration of the local aquaculture and to raise money for local causes and community projects. We definitely look forward to participating next year at the 35th annual Oyster Fest!
